People are looking to digital channels to better manage their health; and managing health insurance is key to doing so. Thinking about that, we envision a future for Blue Shield of California that is a digital-first, data-driven, fully integrated, guided experience.
Some key points we considered:
. Modernize the digital experience platform
. Multi-track approach: transactions and content
. Invest in the app
. Prioritize the shopping experience
We designed a simple experience that is consistent across all lines of business by using conversational language and remove complex interactions, only asking relevant questions as more information is captured.
One of our ideas is to apply the same strategy to voice interactions to quickly surface complicated information.
